Carol Jenson’s primary area of practice is first party litigation.  Born and raised in

Texas, Ms. Jenson graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, receiving a

Bachelor of Arts degree with honors.  Ms. Jenson attended the University of Texas

School of Law and obtained her J.D. with honors.  During law school, she was a

research assistant for Professor Bea Ann Smith and a student attorney ad litem

with the Children’s Rights Clinic.  After graduating, Ms. Jenson served as a Briefing

Attorney for the Honorable Jackson B. Smith and the Honorable Michol O’Connor

on the First Court of Appeals in Houston before joining Fulbright & Jaworski in

San Antonio as a member of the litigation and appellate sections.  She later joined

Jones, Kurth & Treat as appellate counsel in first party insurance litigation.  In her

work with Lindow Stephens Treat, LLP, Ms. Jenson has provided analysis of

coverage issues under homeowners, commercial general liability, and umbrella

insurance policies and has served as defense counsel in first party litigation. 

During 14 years of her legal career, Ms. Jenson served as Staff Attorney to the

Honorable John K. Dietz, 250th District Court, the Honorable Suzanne Covington,

201st District Court, and the Honorable Jeanne W. Meurer, 98th District Court in

Travis County, handling complex litigation in all areas of civil and administrative law.
