Eric Michael Garza is a native Texan, born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley.  He

earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University

of Texas at San Antonio and a Masters of Business Administration from St. Mary’s

University.  Eric Michael attended St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he

served as the Student Coordinator for the law school’s pro bono program and Staff

Writer for the Scholar, a law review on race and social justice.  In 2016, National

Jurist magazine recognized him as a Law Student of the Year, and he received the

President’s Award from St. Mary’s University.  Eric Michael joined Lindow Stephens 

Treat LLP in February of 2020.  His practice focuses on first and third party civil

litigation with an emphasis on personal injury, uninsured and underinsured

motorists disputes, and extra-contractual bad faith claims.  Prior to joining

Lindow Stephens Treat LLP, Eric Michael served as in-house counsel for a national

insurance company and was a member of the disputes team at Norton Rose

Fulbright.
