Paul Bishop was born in Houston, graduated from high school in College Station, and enlisted in the Air Force at 17 years old. He served as a precision measurement equipment laboratory journeyman in South Korea, Japan, Qatar, and Las Vegas. He used the G.I. Bill to get an education at Southern Methodist University in Dallas where he majored in Art and minored in Entrepreneurship. He earned his law degree from the University of Houston. In law school, he interned with U.S. District Judge Gray Miller of the Southern District of Texas, participated in mock trial, and helped raise money to train military veterans’ service dogs. Now he practices first and third party insurance defense only fifteen minutes from where he began his journey as a trainee at Lackland Air Force Base.
