Scott G. Marcinkus graduated from Boston University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts

degree in Earth Sciences in 2003.  After college, Mr. Marcinkus worked as an

environmental scientist and consultant supporting land transactions, development

projects, and remediation projects throughout the nation.  Mr. Marcinkus attended

University of Oregon School of Law, where he was a member of the Philip C. Jessup

International Law Moot Court team, an Environmental and Natural Resources Law

Fellow, and Co-Director for the Public Interest Environmental Law Conference, and

obtained his J.D. in 2012.  While in law school, Mr. Marcinkus provided free legal

services to local small businesses through the University of Oregon’s Small Business

Clinic and for regional non-profit organizations through the university’s

Environmental Law Clinic.  After graduation, Mr. Marcinkus practiced Plaintiff-side

litigation in Massachusetts, focusing primarily on personal injury and medical

malpractice matters.  After moving to San Antonio in 2015, Mr. Marcinkus worked

as a legal researcher for Dykema prior to joining Lindow ▪ Stephens ▪ Treat, L.L.P. in

August of 2018.  Mr. Marcinkus primarily practices both first and third-party

insurance defense.
